He is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb, Head of the Department (Chair) of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb, and the strategic lead for strategy and development at the Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb. In his work to date, he has successfully led teams and serves as a consultant to Croatian and regional companies on market management strategies (i.e., managing decision-making processes and the processes through which consumer preferences are formed), a topic on which he also earned his PhD. His work focuses on market management strategies and on understanding the decision-making processes of consumers and managers in the context of innovation and technological change. Prof. Vlašić is a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals Technology in Society (Q1 in Business and International Management), Strategic Change (Q2 in Business, Management and Accounting), British Food Journal (Q2 in Business, Management and Accounting), and the Zagreb International Review of Economics and Business (indexed in WoS ESCI, EconLit, etc.).
